The Bagpipes application offers a remarkably authentic simulation of Scottish Great Highland Bagpipes, widely regarded as the quintessential style of bagpipes played throughout Scotland and internationally during parades and various events.

Users can initiate sound production by simply touching any note on the chanter. Once activated, the chanter produces a continuous sound akin to that of traditional bagpipes, enhancing the user experience.

Additionally, users can manage the drone sound by tapping the drone image to toggle it on and off. It is noteworthy that deactivating the drone will also mute the chanter notes.

For a more authentic playing experience, users are encouraged to employ a technique that mimics a piping "cut" ornament. This can be achieved by quickly sliding from an adjacent black key to the desired note when playing repeated notes.

The application also allows users to accompany their performance with music from their device by starting the track prior to launching the app.
